It it's at least 3 or 4 weeks away, consider staying at the LAX Hilton. Lots of advantages to this: a. Decent price. b. Indoor parking. c. Comfy shuttle bus to airport (it's the same one the Hilton Hotel guests use) d. Charge parking to your credit card so all you need to open the gate and enter the lot is the same credit card.
The Parking Spot on Sepulveda. Its pricey ($18/day for covered parking), but with a coupon on their website you can save 20% so long as your stay includes Saturday night. Its a relatively new, very nice structure and I've seen their shuttles come and go every 5 minutes, continually.

I came to prefer the Parking Spot at Sepulveda and Westchester, and that is one of the things about LA that I miss since returning to NorCal.
The parking structures IN the airport across the street from the international terminal would be the most convenient/closest/fastest LAX parking. The rate is $40/day. You can go online and see the number of free spaces in each of these parking structures by clicing on them.

I agree with the previous post and I always use LAX parking lot B. The revenue flows back to the airport and the City of Los Angeles.It is $8.00 per day and there are constant shuttles to all terminals.
