You do NOT need to use ID.me and give up personal information, like you do online. The lines are "virtually" nonexistent at the park ticket booth with so many visitors having tickets on their phones.

Yes, they do offer military discounts; however, I don't know how good a deal that is. You can purchase tickets through ID.me or through your bases rec center. I would also recommend checking Groupon since they offer good prices at a reduced rate too.
