On average I've been going to 6 shows a year here since the 90's. Now that there is a ball field (Yard Goats) there isn't enough parking I. Hartford to accommodate both. Ball games start at 7:00, concerts generally at 8:00. We sat in traffic for hours only to find absolutely NO PARKING and missed the show I had purchased tickets for.

I am not an expert on The Hartford Amtrak station but I can tell you that there are several parking lots in the area across the street and within a blocks walk.
