    From my brief research, it looks as if Reading would be easy to reach, with frequent direct trains from Gatwick. This is important, as we will be tired, and convenience will be paramount. It also looks as if we could easily make a day trip or two from Reading, say to Henley and/or Oxford, if we are feeling energetic.
