Been coming to Ingonish Beach for 50 years. The beautiful sandy beach is gone! Nothing but rocks and maybe a wee bit of sand at lowest tide. Lifeguards on duty but very few swimmers. You are expected to pay for a pass to access the beach, however there is no access for elderly, young children and the disabled!
I will likely be spending one night but will be planning to stay up to see the stars and therefore not requiring a campsite (I'll drive home and sleep in the morning).
