Assuming you're talking about "cheapest," any number of private off-site lots are available for a bit less than what BWI charges at its own official satellite lots ($8/day). I've used Econopark Express several times without issue, but the savings over BWI's lot are only a quarter a day.
The Amtrak/MARC garage is covered (unlike the $8 economy lot at BWI) and is $9/day. There are frequent shuttles to the BWI terminal. That's what we always do, since it's the cheapest way to keep the car from being exposed to the elements. Edited: 1 year ago
The airport has a variety of parking options, ranging from a garage within walking distance to the concourses to remote parking lots that require shuttles to access. A light rail station , with service to downtown Baltimore and other locations via Baltimore Light RailLink, is located next to Concourse E.
Re: BWI long term parking options. 13 years ago. If you're going to be catching a shuttle from a parking lot at the airport, you might as well just catch the light rail. Parking is free and the ride will be $1.60 each way. Park at the North Linthicum light rail station and take the LR to the airport.
Numerous off-site parking lots in the area in addition to the airport lots. Just google "pre flight" or "park and fly" or "fast park"...most have some kind of coupon on their web site to save a dollar or two. Long Term parking at the airport is only $8 a day.
Answer 1 of 16: I usually park in the BWI Long Term lot (for trips of 3 days). Does the Express Lot offer any real advantages, or does it just cost $2/day more?
