   I would never rent through Turo. Multiple reasons, but one = what if you show up and there's something wrong with the vehicle. You are completely out of luck. Rent from a company that will have other vehicles in their fleet. The Avis location in Bozeman HAS vehicles. They just don't want to release one from their fleet for a one way rental.

They have been in the news for all kinds of extra charges charged to the credit card a month after returning the car. Major work charges, like windshield damage, invisible scratches that somehow become visible damage.

   There is a National car rental office right behind DCA on West Katella Ave. That way you and the kids could use the bathroom facilities near the gate or through security, catch the shuttle to Anaheim and one person could probably walk to the car rental office from your hotel. Probably quicker getting to the hotel than renting at LAX.
