Times in the Honokowai Marketplace is a full sized market and fully open and has excellent pharmacists. The Island Grocery Depot is the best for veggies, and good meat but it is hard to access because you have to drive across the Lahaina bypass to exit that area.

We hit Dolphin Market near the traffic circle, Starfish Market on South Shore Road, St. John Market on South Shore Road near the Westin, and Pine Peace Mini Mart (now bigger) in Coral Bay. I have not heard whether the branch of Dolphin Market in the Cocoloba complex in Coral Bay is back open.

To compare Safeway prices log onto their website and punch in zipcode 96761 for Lahaina...here in the Washington Metro area we don't find the prices that different except on milk, maybe 15 to 50 cents higher on regular items.
