They are so tight that often, if they are full, you must leave your keys at the office so that they can jockey cars as people come and leave.

Re: All day parking garages. Yes there are plenty. Cost will be $35-$40. Sutter-Stockton or 5th and Mission are good options. You could also take BART because traffic across the Bay Bridge in commute direction is hellish. It can easily take 30-40 minutes just to get to the bridge from downtown SF in the afternoon.
