We live in south Georgia and will be leaving from Atlanta airport to Dulles, transfer planes and then go to London, England. Our return will be from Frankfurt on Lufthansa directly into Atlanta.
5. Re: Hartsfield - parking at the new ATL West. Nice state of the art parking deck for Atlanta Airport Parking. The sky train is great and runs every 3-5 minutes automatically and around the clock between the parking deck and the airport drop off area near the west drop off and airport Marta rail station.
The Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport has two terminals and seven concourses with a total of 192 gates. The Domestic Terminal is located on the west side of the airport and the Maynard H. Jackson Jr. International Terminal is on the east side of the airport.
Most of the time, I park at the airport and use their shuttle parking - Park-Ride - because it's more convenient coming for me. Since you are coming in from the north, Parking Spot 1 would work well. I made reservations there for the first time in a long time for $6.50 a day uncovered parking. For international, I like Fast Park.
