Just set directions to BWI amtrak, and the garage is right at the station pretty much. Pretty basic parking situation, you just get a ticket, and then pay it on the way out ($9/day). More info here: https://www.mta.maryland.gov/marc-parking-details. There's over 3,000 spots so it's never full.
Always use the parking decks at the MARC/Amtrak station off 170/Aviation Blvd. off 195 and close to airport's satellite lots. The car is under cover so no weather issues and very safe. Area around the station is patrolled by the MTA police.
The Amtrak/MARC garage is covered (unlike the $8 economy lot at BWI) and is $9/day. There are frequent shuttles to the BWI terminal. That's what we always do, since it's the cheapest way to keep the car from being exposed to the elements.
These are typically located near public transportation, making it easy to catch an Amtrak train. Hotel Parking: If you're staying at a hotel near an Amtrak station, many hotels offer overnight parking for guests. Private Parking Lots: There are also private parking lots that offer overnight parking for a fee.
The adjacent parking garage is used by commuters who ride the train to work in Baltimore or Washington, and also contains the bus stop for shuttles to the BWI terminal. The garage was built in the late 1990s to replace a smaller surface lot. It contains 3,200 parking spaces and typically does not fill to capacity.
There are currently 36 free public parking spaces and connections can be made to MTA Maryland's Route 17 and 99 buses, and Howard Transit's Silver Route from this station. Additionally, portions of the BWI Trail can be found across the street from the parking lot.
