Here's the way I think about parking at 5-star hotels (the SLS is a 5-star hotel). If you're paying $500 or $600 per night for a hotel room plus $80 to $100 for 'hotel taxes', you should be happy to reward yourself with valet parking at the measly price of $40/night.
