1. Re: Cheap & safe airport parking at LAX. 15 years ago. The Hacienda Hotel in El Segundo, has free parking for 2 weeks, if you spend a night at their hotel for $149. Lots of people find this a simple way to drive out the night before, sleep and go. They have free shuttles to LAX and are about a mile south.
I think the first hour is something like $6 then they charge in 20 minute increments until it gets to $17. You can spend some time finding parking in the building when businesses are open. You can use google maps and type in "parking" and find dozens of other lots. I'd want a building, though (with cameras).
