Booked a reservation for a week long parking space at the Denver Airport Double Tree on March 25, 2024. As per their cancellation policy I cancelled via online prior to the reserved time. Their policy states a full refund is provided.
Apr 11, 2024, 11:51 AM. We used Way.com for discounted parking reservations at Laz Parking at Bradley in March 2024. Upon exiting at the end off our trip, we had to pay a second time (at a higher price) to get out of the lot.
If you need to cancel, you won't get a refund. On Feb 7 I used way.com to book airport parking and paid $71. I cancelled the order for airport parking on March 11 and they acknowledged the confirmation and in a chat session I was informed that I would receive my refund in 7 to 10 business days.
When I pre-purchased the parking space on 2-22-20 Way's written policy they sent me clearly states that I'm entitled to a full refund if I cancel at least 24 hours prior (copy of their policy attached). I cancelled on 3-22-20 by email. At that time they still hadn't changed their policy. They ignored my request.
Two months ago I booked and pre-paid for parking at the Orlando airport using way.com. When I arrived at the lot today they said way.com had cancelled their contract and the parking lot would not honor my reservation or refund my payment.
Earlier this month, I called customer service again and spoke to the same agent. I asked for compensation equal to the difference between my Way.com reservation and what I was charged by the airport, since if I had been notified I would have had adequate time to book a different parking lot on Way.com or use a different service provider.
