    The problem with a voice activated translation app is that it needs some training to the speakers voice to have a chance of getting the correct translation. So just hearing a voice once or twice and with different english accents all over the world it will not be able to translate correctly or give out some really weird stuff.

    Have you looked at google translate? Or you can google for other "translate apps" in the app store. im not sure how you think or do things, but i see it as 1 more thing to deal with. If you have a smart phone, you can look at any of the various translations apps. But on my travels i try to cut back on stuff i bring, not bring more.
