Clarion Hotel offers plain old self-parking without a room stay for $9 a day, and Fox Autopark offers $7.45 a day which is, by far one of the best rates I've ever seen. Also, I noticed you're leaving at 4 a.m. Some airport hotels offer free parking with a night's stay, and shuttle you to the airport (of course).

I think it was $16 or $18/day, and it's on the airport tram line so no worries about the human factor in a shuttle service.
SkyPark's rates keep creeping up (w/ AAA discount and free days, the quote is $15/day + tax). The last time I used them I had to wait longer than usual, both departing and arriving. The best rate I found is with Anza Parking, $13.99/day+tax. Last time, as I waited at SFO, I saw their shuttle twice before SkyPark came, but maybe that was a fluke.

There are additional off-site lots, all of which should have shuttles (but please verify due to ongoing COVID-related staffing shortages).
Answer 1 of 23: Will be travelling out of SF to NYC over the winter break in December and looking for indoor long term parking near San Francisco Airport. We will be away for 2.5weeks so cost and safety would be a consideration.

You can reserve parking for up to 20 weekdays (weekends are free) at the Millbrae or San Bruno BART station for $6 per day, then take BART one stop (five minutes) to the airport (if you opt for Millbrae, be sure you park in the BART lot, not the CalTrain one).
There are also SFO hotels that offer parking only for 23 days at about $200: Travelodge, Radisson, Red Roof, Hampton, Best Western Grosvenor. Staying overnight is not as important as finding the cheapest & safest location to park the car, and hassle free. BART option would not work for this middle aged couple.
If you're looking for efficiency over the cheapest place, the Long Term Parking area is connected by AirTrain, and seemed super slick when I was at SFO recently. I don't think we waited more than two minutes for an AirTrain (to and from the rental car area, which is one stop before the parking).
