Always use the parking decks at the MARC/Amtrak station off 170/Aviation Blvd. off 195 and close to airport's satellite lots. The car is under cover so no weather issues and very safe. The Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) Amtrak station does not offer overnight parking for Amtrak passengers. However, BWI Airport does have several parking options available for those who need to leave their vehicle while they are traveling.
The Amtrak/MARC garage is covered (unlike the $8 economy lot at BWI) and is $9/day. There are frequent shuttles to the BWI terminal. That's what we always do, since it's the cheapest way to keep the car from being exposed to the elements. Edited: 1 year ago
BWI is located at the southeast terminus of Interstate 195, a spur route providing connections to the Baltimore–Washington Parkway and Interstate 95. The airport has a variety of parking options, ranging from a garage within walking distance to the concourses to remote parking lots that require shuttles to access.
The adjacent parking garage is used by commuters who ride the train to work in Baltimore or Washington, and also contains the bus stop for shuttles to the BWI terminal. The garage was built in the late 1990s to replace a smaller surface lot.
At the next intersection, the loop meets Elm Road, which heads south toward the airport terminal and hourly, daily, and express parking lots, and north toward Elkridge Landing Road, which passes through the BWI Hotel District and leads to off-site parking.
