1 year ago. My husband and I would like to park at the BWI Amtrak station and take the train to New York City for a couple of nights. I know there is supposed to be overnight parking at that station but I need to confirm where the long-term parking is located (for the Amtrak station, not for the airport).

Last year I flew out of BWI on Thanksgiving day itself and both of the Long-Term Parking lots were filled. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if chances are good that there will be spaces open on the lots on the Monday after Thanksgiving.

Assuming you're talking about "cheapest," any number of private off-site lots are available for a bit less than what BWI charges at its own official satellite lots ($8/day). I've used Econopark Express several times without issue, but the savings over BWI's lot are only a quarter a day. https://econoparkexpress.com

I've used the Microtel parking service before, pretty cheap (around $5-6 a day) and quick service to and from the hotel to the terminal and vice versa. Call the hotel front desk and ask for the booking website, you have to reserve and pay for parking through a third party website but the name of the site escapes me at the moment.
