US Park, Airlines and Quik Park are all under the same ownership, cost the same, operate the same, and are the same basic distance from the terminals. The only reason I pick Airlines is that we have a corporate lot there and I get to be first on/off the shuttle bus.
Answer 1 of 10: Flying out at end of Dec from DTW and need parking for 8 days. Normally we use a park & stay that includes parking in the hotel rate but this time we will not be staying overnight at a hotel.
There are coupons on the website, but if you use your AAA/CAA card, it is a slightly better rate. They have updated parts of the lot, and it seems we have a little more room between cars. They have 3 checkout booths - often two are open - and you don't have to get our of your vehicle to make payment.
7 years ago. Have not seen anything on them recently. All of the regular offsite lots ( Airlines, Quick, and US Park) operate 24/7. They follow you directly to your parking spot with the shuttle so there is no need to worry about reliability. Check their websites for discount coupons at $10/day.
15 years ago. Just an update to the information on this thread. Long term parking on site at the Big Blue is now $16 a day. There are online coupons for both Quik park and US Park for $10 per day. Also, a number of hotels (the Westin and many of the Hilton brands in the area) have park and stay plans.
US Park, Airlines Parking and Quik Park are the three offsite lots at DTW. They are all under the same ownership and charge the same rates - $10/day with a coupon off of their websites. There are additional discounts for AAA and some corporations - at Airlines I get $8/day with my business card and we also have reserved spots up front.
