Re: Parking at DTW. Detroit Airport Parking can be tricky without research: There is terminal parking, the Green lots and four off-site lots. Be sure to check their pages for coupons. Also, certain hotels offer free transportation to and from the airport if you spend the night prior to your flight.
Check out Airlines Parking or Quik Park. We use Airlines Parking and have used them many times and never had a problem. All parking is in a fenced in secure lot.
In addition to the ticketing level, there's an additional ticketing and security area for passengers using the parking structures. The terminal houses ten international gates that are capable of dual jet bridge loading and unloading. The gates contain two exit configurations depending on the arriving flight.
It seems like shuttles are necessary for green lot parking sites, if so, I will turn to other adjacent parking lot for no reason. The Green one's fare is $11 per day. The Blue one seems closer according to the map, $14 daily.
Yes, they can park in the Blue Deck and comfortably walk to the Spirit counter. It would cost $18 per 24-hour period. Long term parking in the Green Lot is $15 per day and a shuttle would take them to the terminal. If they reserve a spot at one of the off-site lots, the charge is around $11 per day.
703 reviews. 769 helpful votes. Parking near DTW. 16 years ago. I am posting this feedback in the Forum, since tripadvisor does not post reviews for parking companies on the site. We flew out of DTW for one week, and needed a place to park. Since we had used "US Park on Middlebelt" before, we thought we would try it again.
