    You're right -- cash is king, but some places do take credit cards. Certainly the bigger places and resorts (SM and CSM for sure, plus some of the other grocery stores and gas stations in Burnt Ground and Glintons. Then you've got more places in Salt Pond -- the grocery and the gas station there that will take credit cards, as will Chez Pierre.
