You're right -- cash is king, but some places do take credit cards. Certainly the bigger places and resorts (SM and CSM for sure, plus some of the other grocery stores and gas stations in Burnt Ground and Glintons. Then you've got more places in Salt Pond -- the grocery and the gas station there that will take credit cards, as will Chez Pierre.
I was there January 9, 2017 and got my room $99 and they gave me $99 free play on my card. Then I got my credit card From Discover and I was charged 125.86. If I was to get a room for $99 and then get it back for slot play why was I charged $125.86 I should have only been charged $25.86 So really the room was really not free.
