I would agree with others about finding a different hotel with free parking, but if you insist on staying at the Calista Organic Hotel, the cheapest nearby parking I'm seeing on SpotHero is $32 for 24 hours at 1150 Post Street. That's three blocks away from your hotel.

Hello! My family and I (party of 5) will be visiting San Francisco for the first time early November this year. I have two hotel options, one near Berkley that offers free parking and other one downtown with a $60 parking fee per night. If we stay at the one near Berkley, uber or bus to and from Downtown will be the same $60 or more.
• The minimum fine for a parking citation in San Francisco is $71.00. Woe unto you if you park in a blue zone without disability ID; the fine is $875. Not to mention the epidemic of car burglaries that Wes mentioned, especially but not limited to popular visitor areas.
Parking garages are all over. Find the nearest to your hotel and dump the car for the duration. Depending on the location, it could be up to $45/day, but it's worth it to not bother with the car. The big downtown hotels have overnight parking for $50/day or so, but it would be convenient if you were staying there.
