I use The entertainment coupon book code along with signing up as an Alamo insider. I have a one week stang convertible for $250 all fees in for one week. First time renting a car and thought it was a good deal.

most coupons in the entertainment book usually expire by nov 1 of what ever year they are for, so i doubt a coupon or code from a 2010 book would still be valid in june of 2011. perhaps it was from a 2011 book, they are out now. even if the code worked online, you would still have to show your activated ent book card when picking up the car.
Re: Alamo - prepay and online check-in question. No, you can't use the coupon with "pre-pay" on-line reservation because you would then get a double discount since you get anywhere from 10-20% off for using the pre pay method automatically depending on when, where and what you rent.
