15 years ago. I stayed at Raffles four years ago and was only allowed to wear shorts passing through the Hotel to get to my room. Restaurants require long trousers or skirts for females even, so I doubt three quarter length pants would be acceptable. As mentioned on a previous post, in the courtyard etc, shorts are acceptable.

Long Bar has definitely mutated into a grade A tourist trap of the worst kind, so feel free to stroll up in a tank tops with thongs. Going to Singapore for 2 nights and want to go to Raffles for a drink can anybody please tell me what's the dress code just to have a drink there, eg can my husband wear jeans or has he got to wear smart trousers.
