I fly out of DTW at 6:30 am on Saturday the 19th. I will return at 8:05pm on Wednesday the 23rd. I have the coupons for Qwik Park, US Park and Airlines Parking. Qwik Park and US Park are offering 1 day free, $9/day. Airlines Parking is $10/day with one day free.
US Park, Airlines Parking and Quik Park are all $10/day with coupons on their website. AAA might get that down to $9. My corporate discount gets me $8, so if you work for a company with local offices see if you might qualify. All three are under the same ownership and offer good service - follow to your car and drop at the terminal.
The three big offsite lots are US Park, Quik Park and Airline Parking. All have coupons online for $9/day and will shuttle you from your car to the terminal entrance. That will take 5-15 minutes depending on how many others they pick up, but they are quite organized.
1. Re: parking for north terminal-big blue deck. Yes, they can park in the Blue Deck and comfortably walk to the Spirit counter. It would cost $18 per 24-hour period. Long term parking in the Green Lot is $15 per day and a shuttle would take them to the terminal. If they reserve a spot at one of the off-site lots, the charge is around $11 per day.
Airlines Parking, Quik Park and US Park are all owned by Group 10 management group and all three offer similar and excellent and safe parking. Discount coupons are available online for printing at home and I strongly recommend that you avail yourself of the discount.
