Re: Best long term parking at detroit airport. for $10/day, look into the "Big Blue Deck" at the airport itself. It is the parking structure by the North Terminal. They have free shuttle buses to the McNamara terminal (call 1 800 377 1032 from your parking spot in the structure and they will pick you up from there).
11 reviews. 41 helpful votes. 1. Re: Parking at DTW. 5 years ago. Have you considered driving yourself and using one of the offsite parking lots. It's easy peasy. Just drop your car they shuttle you to the airport and on return they drive you right back to your car. With a coupon it's $10/day.
The three big offsite lots are US Park, Quik Park and Airline Parking. All have coupons online for $9/day and will shuttle you from your car to the terminal entrance. That will take 5-15 minutes depending on how many others they pick up, but they are quite organized.

All of the regular offsite lots ( Airlines, Quick, and US Park) operate 24/7. They follow you directly to your parking spot with the shuttle so there is no need to worry about reliability.
6. Re: Parking at DTW. 6 years ago. Detroit Airport Parking can be tricky without research: There is terminal parking, the Green lots and four off-site lots. Be sure to check their pages for coupons. Also, certain hotels offer free transportation to and from the airport if you spend the night prior to your flight.
For airport parking (off airport parking), I always use Qwik Park. They have weekly rates, a AAA discount, and online printable coupons. It will still probably cost you about $50 per week, though. I would probably go with a shuttle service from your house or a local hotel.
