I think we'll just take a 2hour Uber ride from Hartford, CT to JFK. Cost a little more than Terminal parking, but don't need to worry about parking. Reply.
7 years ago. Without a doubt; park at JFK Long Term Port Authority Parking Lot - 100% Better than Off Site Parking! The Key Words are: Port Authority Parking Lot which is inside and at the entrance to the airport terminals! There are no reservations and they are not necessary for this huge secure public Long Term Parking lot.
BE AWARE: there is a privately owned parking lot named JFK Long Term Parking this is NOT the authorized "Port Authority" lot which is on the way and just inside the airport property before reaching the airport terminals. Read another forum posting with helpful information: "JFK airport long term parking lot - it was great! Questions?"
Save. I once researched this and was not able to find anything good, but try www.longtermparking.com. If it's really only a few days and you have to be up so early, it might be worth considering parking right outside the terminal (the most expensive option, but it might be covered and you'll be right there).
I used SmartPark JFK on June 13, 2013 for five days, and was quite disappointed. First of all, the guy that greeted me when I pulled in was as rude as could be. A terrible first impression for a people oriented company, and no way to start a trip. The shuttle driver was pleasant, but did not help anyone load their bags into the shuttle.
