I want to purchase a Panasonic headphone for an international flight I'm looking to take shortly on United Airlines. I've heard others say that typically a standard airline adapter has 2 pins of equal size but on United Airlines, you seem to need an adapter where the 2 pins are different sizes Can anybody let me know if that is true and in which case, suggest what adapter to buy?
You can use single plug headphones on United IFE systems. Just insert the single plug into the larger of the two sockets. It works fine. My Bose two pin adapter works fine in UA's sockets but it's not needed. Edited: 6 years ago
