6. Re: Parking at DTW. 6 years ago. Detroit Airport Parking can be tricky without research: There is terminal parking, the Green lots and four off-site lots. Be sure to check their pages for coupons. Also, certain hotels offer free transportation to and from the airport if you spend the night prior to your flight.
1. Re: parking for north terminal-big blue deck. Yes, they can park in the Blue Deck and comfortably walk to the Spirit counter. It would cost $18 per 24-hour period. Long term parking in the Green Lot is $15 per day and a shuttle would take them to the terminal. If they reserve a spot at one of the off-site lots, the charge is around $11 per day.
Airlines Parking, Quik Park and US Park are all owned by Group 10 management group and all three offer similar and excellent and safe parking. Discount coupons are available online for printing at home and I strongly recommend that you avail yourself of the discount.

3. Re: parking at mcnamara terminal. The McNamara deck is attached to Delta's terminal and most convenient (usually), but also the most expensive at $21/day. The deck is quite large so you can still end up with a pretty long walk, but there are moving sidewalks. C section is closest to the terminal as I recall.
